About Envirogencat

Envirogencat, LLC designs, manufactures and markets emission control devices for small spark ignited gasoline engines from its Florida based headquarters and manufacturing facility. These engines are typically found in industrial generators, fire rescue equipment, industrial products, construction, lawn maintenance equipment and residential generators.

Envirogencat™ is a leader in the reduction of harmful emissions such as Carbon Monoxide (CO) Hydrocarbons (HC) and Nitrates of Oxide (NOx). The company introduced Gencat™, a catalytic muffler that is simple to install, self contained, maintenance free and reduces poisonous CO emissions to non-lethal levels.

Gencat™ works on gasoline, natural gas, propane and ethanol mix. Gencat™ is based on proven technology which has undergone 5 years of development, testing and use in the Fire Rescue industry. Gencat™ was invented in 2005 by Robert Aratari in response to illnesses and deaths caused by CO poisoning from residential generators in use to counter the power failures caused by Hurricane Wilma.

As verified by independent laboratory tests, Gencat™ reduces carbon monoxide emissions from these gasoline engines by over 99%.

Engines used for a wide variety of applications are responsible for thousands of poisoning deaths and illnesses yearly on a worldwide basis as well as contributing to pollution and are estimated to account for up to 30% of greenhouse gas creation worldwide.

The Company will introduce an emission control device for diesel based generators (Gencat™-D) in 2012.
